It's no secret that Caroline struggled her Freshman season, not an unusual occurrence, but her potential was easy to see. Caroline has all the tools to be a Division 1 pitcher, not to mention the strength. Caroline's best game of 2009 was her victory in the 13 inning game at St. Mary's where she pitched the final 11 innings allowing only one run. She also pitched a 2 hitter in her first collegiate start at Norfolk St.

Caroline was a 4 time letter winner for Stevenson High School and had a record of 29-5 with 360 strikeouts her senior season. She was her school's MVP, and twice was named to the All State team (California). She was named Monterey County Best Female Athlete of the Year in 2008.
