Amanda spent time in the outfield and was used as a pinch runner her Freshman season. She is very tough at the plate for a smaller player, and had some big hits for the Griffs during the tournament portion of the season when she saw more action. Amanda will be competing this year for the outfield spot vacated by departing senior Rachelle Barrientos.

Amanda was named 3 times (2006-08) to the All Western New York team while playing for Sweet Home High School, where she hit .465 for her career. She also played for the Amherst Lightning Gold.
