Amanda starred at King High in Riverside, CA, the Alma Mater of former Griff catcher Angela Turrey. At King she earned 3 consecutive Big VIII League First Team honors. She was the captain of the Wolves and posted a 0.86 earned run average her senior season, 1.22 her junior season, and 0.84 her sophomore season. She has played travel ball for Victory USA Gold, and the So Cal Crunch Gold, who made a strong push attempting to qualify for Nationals behind her stellar pitching. With the Griffs' 2009 starters having graduated, look for Amanda to see plenty of action in the circle her freshman season.
